cajeta jelly/gelatina de cajeta

where and when i ate my first jelly? couple years ago in mexico. the easiest way to prepare it is to buy bag of flavored jelly and mix it with warm milk. since i can not get that type of jelly in slovakia, i had come up with my own version :) i swear it was delicious :)

ingredients/ingredientes:

500 ml milk/leche
250 ml whipping cream/crema para batir
250 g cajeta/cajeta
20 g powdered gelatine/grenetina
3 tablespoons water/cucharadas de agua

chocolate (optional)/chocolate (opcional)

in a saucepan, mix the milk, cream and cajeta. cook it on a low flame until cajeta dissolves and the mixture starts boiling.

meanwhile mix the gelatin with water...
mientras mezcla la grenetina con agua...

and chop the chocolate.
y corta el chocolate en pedazos.

after taking the milky mixture off the flame, add the gelatine and let it dissolve completely.

pour the liquid into the prepared glasses and throw in few pieces of chocolate. place the jellys into the fridge for at least two hours.
